"Can we be friends?" Anvi asked me with a genuine and sweet smile on her pretty face . I don't know how to answer that question . I haven't been friends with someone for so long that I couldn't even remember anything at all . But now this is the first time someone has asked me to become their friend otherwise I was the one who was always left behind at every aspect and now this life has left me behind proving my point .

"Are you there , Adhvika?" She waved her hand in front me to bring me out of my haunting memories those never leave my side at all . 

"Ye-eah yeah." I breathed out which came out as a whisper .

 "I have asked you something." She pinched her brows together watching me in bewilderment . "W-hat?" I stuttered feeling the loss for words . I don't know why I feel like this in the most important events and now this . 

"I asked you if you can be my friend." She stated again slowly the creases on her forehead wiping off .

"L-ike a real friend?" I asked being a fool and then looked everywhere but her . 

"Of course Adhvika ." "Will you?" She spoke again after sometime . 

"Y-es I would." I spoke hastily not knowing what to do with myself and my brain at all . This is really happening - A friend for real ? A friend who will never leave me no matter what ? A friend who will listen to my bickerings day and night ? A FRIEND.... I think I'm on cloud nine just because of a friend thing . I know somethig is wrong with me but I don't care a bit about that . I'm that is what matters the most .

"Awww , Thank you so much Adhvi Baby." She squealed with happiness and hugged me which startled me at first but I gave into the hug . This hug feels so real . My eyes watered with excitement as I got a new Friend . 

"Are you crying Adhvika?" Anvi pulled back from the hug taking a look at my face searching for the cause of my tears .

"These are happy tears dumbo." I hit her arm playfully , smiling at her . 

"You're so sweet Darling." She pinched my cheeks lightly and giggled like a child . But our little talk interuppted when Rehan came to give my phone back to me . He was smiling showing his little teeth and there Arin looked at him in awe .

"Thank you so much dear parents for your cooperation . I hope you would have enjoyed the day ." The same teacher came announced to everyone and then thanking her , I and Anvi came out of our kid's classroom not before giving them goodbye kisses . 

"We'll come and pick them together okay ?" I said to Anvi who was walking by my side looked up , meeting my eyes with a happy smile from which I could tell that she is agreeing to what I've asked for ."Sure missy ." She chuckled making me smile too . A genuine one.

We reached the parking area of school talking random stuff and all . I reached for my car which is Black Audi RS Q8 and beside my car was black tinted Maybach GLS , which was breathtaking . Anvi opened the front door of Maybach , smiling at me and I stared in shock that it was hers .

 "Oh Shit!" Anvi cursed and I jumped on my feet at her sudden reaction .

"Whoops, Sorry to scare you." She grinned showing me her perfect white pearls . 

"I forgot to ask your number." She waved her phone infront me and I gave her a nod . 

"Here." I passed her phone back after I saved my number on her phone .

 "Thank you dear , Now I'll blow up your phone ." She sent me a wink before settling herself in her car . I smiled at her antics .

Settling myself on the driver seat , I turned the ignition of my car and drove off while the song 'Tu hai ki nahi' played at the low volume and some memories from today started replaying in my mind. And then I smiled again, genuinely .

 As soon as I reached home , I didn't saw anyone there . I went straight to the kitchen and gulped down two glasses of water when my phone chimed with new notifications . I looked at the notifications thinking they were from Anvi but actually they weren't from her . The messages were from my to be husband .I opened our chat and saw the picture of roses he sent me along with a message which says: 

"Was walking down the street and saw these pink roses . I bought them cause they reminded me of you blushing and smiling at my words . I placed them in my cabin and looked at them whenever I think 'bout you." 

I read his message which really left me blushing all the way but the hurt doesn't seem to fade away from my heart . I closed his chat choosing not to reply his message but this heart of mine can't hurt him at all . So , I liked his messages and shut my phone taking a deep breath . Not finding Maa anywhere , I chose to go into my room and do some of my pending work . And if anyone doesn't know my boss is an ass for real . A grumpy shit hole . So I climber upstairs in urgency taking two stairs at a time I reached my my room and removed my jeans and put on some comfortable Pajamas .

I settled on my bed and turned on my laptop . My work is to send thanking mails to our costumers and preparing excel files . I started doing my work but stopped in my tracks when my phone chimed again 'cause of the upcoming call which is from the unknown number . I picked up the call only to be greeted by the familiar cheerful voice of Anvi , which I recognised instantly .

 "Hello , Baby." She greeted .

"Hy Anvi." I replied back . 

"How did you recognise its me?" Shock is evident in her voice when she asked me . 

"I've a sharp brain ofcourse." I mocked . 

"Yeah , you do have." She chuckled at my response and I'm grinning like a child .

 "I've called you to infrom that We are going for a party tonight 'Kay?" She said or baiscally demanded because she know that I won't agree eaily . She is a person who understands the other's personality easily . 

"Are you there girl?" Her sweet voice snapped me back from my thoughts .

 "I'm listening." I breathed out .

 "Okay listen then , We are going to this club which is famous for its drinks and all . I want you to wear the sluttiest outfit and shake your booty on the dance floor." 

"Holy God." I sighed at her choice of words . 

"But unholy me." Her chuckle came lightly from the speaker making me smile too . 

"Sure you are." 

"Okay then , at 6 in the evening meet me at the location I'm sending you . I hope you are not declining." She spoke again and I nodded knowing she can't see me .

 "Ok." I replied and then smiled to the fact that I've got a friend . I've went to the clubs with my old friends but that wasn't worth it because they always enjoyed at left me behind . 

"By girllll." She squealed and the cut then cut the phone . I chuckled after her phone was cut and then started doing my pending work .
